The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA are going to be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency stated it is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office website committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry SRD to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
